Monticello is a city in Illinois, roughly an hour outside Springfieild, and only 22 miles from Champaign, IL. The Mansion at Allerton is amazing, but the grounds are even more so. Instead of a candle with our name on it, we thought you might enjoy a nice memento of your evening with us! So, we have engaged a portrait photographer who will take portraits of all the guests. Everyone dresses up for a wedding! Take advantage! Get shots of you, your significant other, your family!! We will send everyone their proofs!!

We will have his and her signature cocktails and a full open bar for cocktail hour and during the reception.

Allerton has provided blocks of rooms for us, both in the mansion where the wedding will be (book early for the best rooms!) and also in the Lodge, the Gate House and the House in Woods! Semi-formal and cocktail dress codes are relatively similar, but they're not the same. You can think of semi-formal wedding attire as a slightly toned-down, business-esque version of cocktail attire. These two dress codes overlap in the sense that shorter dress hemlines (think midi-length and high-low skirts) and suits (versus tuxedos) are both appropriate. But we want you to feel AMAZING so dress in things that you love and want to see in a portrait!
